trees provide shelter to a variety songbirds whose melodies
make for a relaxing and interesting way to start the day. The cooing of the turtle doves is especially soothing. Ducks,
geese and other waterbirds congregate near the water. Hawks and
buzzards soar high overhead on thermal updrafts. If you are a
bird-watcher you will be busy spotting the many different species that
populate the area. Bring your binoculars and cameras!
Other wildlife occasionally seen in Cozy Cove are deer, squirrels,
foxes, and armadillos. Also noteworthy are the butterflies that
are attracted to the blooms during wildflower season.
