This document sets forth the policies for reservations with Lake Travis Cozy Cove. At the time of making a reservation guests acknowledge that they are aware of the policies of Lake Travis Cozy Cove and agree to adhere to said policies.

Payment Options:

Credit Cards accepted. Please call Lake Travis Cozy Cove @ (512) 382-6235 to make reservations.  Cash, check, money order, travelers checks, cashier's check also accepted. Personal checks are accepted two weeks in advance.  Less than two weeks, a money order, cashier's check or traveler's check accepted and should be sent overnight.  If you pay by cash, check, money order, travelers check, cashier's check a security deposit of one night's rent is required.
 
Payment is due in full upon making the reservation. Credit cards can be used to make reservations.  Reservations must be made by phone.  The full amount of rent due will be charged to your credit card the day you make your reservations.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Lake Travis Cozy Cove is a small bed and breakfast with only four cottages.  We do not overbook so our cancellation policies are stricter than at larger hotels. No refunds for cancellations.  If the cottage can be rented again, we will refund your rent minus a $50 service charge.  Cottages reservations can be rescheduled.  Rescheduling is determined by cottage availability. 

If you are a no show or if you leave early, you will also be charged the full amount of your reservation
.  All cancellations must be made by phone (person to person).  No voice mail or E-mails or faxes will be accepted for cancellations.    

Owners of Lake Travis Cozy Cove can call and re-schedule guest reservations if needed in the event lake closures or rising lake levels. Re-scheduled reservations will be made according to availability.

GUEST POLICIES:

No cigarettes butts, trash or debris left in cottages or on grounds.
No Smoking (Outside Only).
No Pets.
No more than specified number of guests allowed for each cottage (see cottages) on property at anytime.
No Visitors of Guests.
No Loud Music or Parties.
No illegal activity in cottages or on premises.
No more than specified number of vehicles parked at cottages. Park in designated areas only.
No cars/vehicles allowed on beach or lawn area.  Park in designated parking areas only.
No barbecue grills on deck.  Grill in safe open area.
No cigarettes, paper towels or other paper in toilet.  Use toilet paper only.
To avoid stopping up the toilet do not use large amounts of toilet paper-we are on a septic.
No open windows or doors when running A/C's in cottages. This will avoid A/C's from freezing up.
No burning of candles.

Guest(s) are responsible for any losses or damages caused by misuse, abuse or theft to Lake Travis Cozy Cove property.  Property includes cottages, boats, grounds, furniture and linens.  Guest(s) will be responsible for the full amount of damage repairs or value of the item(s) that are lost or stolen, and this amount will be charged to your credit card number or deducted from the deposit.

Credit cards accepted.  I (we) acknowledge that any  damages to the cottages, furnishings, boats and/or property will be charged to the credit card provided.

*Please do not access Lake Travis Cozy Cove boat rentals or boat accessories unless authorized.

**If all the above policies are not followed additional charges will be incurred at check out.**

CHECK-IN Time is 3:00-10:00 PM.  There shall be a charge of $25 per hour for late check-in after 10:00 PM.

CHECK-OUT Time is 12:00 noon. There shall be a charge of $25 per hour after the 12:00 noon check out time

Please be kind and treat the cottages as if it were your own. The cottages and grounds must be left in the same condition they were upon check-in. Any damages to the cottages or grounds will be taken out of the security deposit.  If cleaning beyond the “normal” range is required, a charge of $25.00 per hour shall be charged. If you choose to use the kitchen for cooking, please be kind and leave it the way you found it. All appliances must be clean and in good condition and all dishes must be washed and put away in place.  A $25.00 fee shall be charged for lost or unreturned keys. Lake Travis Cozy Cove owners reserve the right to enter the cottages to make needed repairs and/or to inspect the property if owners feel that any of the above mentioned policies are not adhered to by guest(s).

CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES:

  • Bag all trash and put in outside trash cans.
  • Leave kitchen clean (including appliances), wash dishes and put back in place. 
  •   Remove any food from refrigerator/freezer
  • Place any moved furniture/furnishings back to their original place
  •  Leave key in cottage where you found it
  •  Leave TV remote control in place where you found it
  • Turn off lights, coffee maker and A/C’s


Guest(s) shall be required to leave the premises of Lake Travis Cozy Cove and the full amount of rent will be forfeited if at anytime there is more than the reserved number of guests in the cottages or on the property.  Loss of rent and eviction will occur in the event of: inside smoking, pets, loud music/noise, large parties, unacceptable behavior,  any illegal activity or more than specified vehicles.

I/We agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owners of the cottages, Lake Travis Cozy Cove and their agents from any accidents, injury or liability suffered on or about the cottages or premises. Lake Travis Cozy Cove is not responsible for damages or loss of personal property, money, jewelry or valuables of any kind, etc. Use of waterfront property and swimming in the lake shall be at guest(s) own risk. Lake Travis Cozy Cove (the owners) of the cottages are not responsible for damage to any watercraft (boats and/or jet skis) or their contents. I/We will inform the owners immediately of any unsafe or hazardous condition or needed repairs in or about the cottage or premises. No refunds or discounts will be given for A/C, Heating, Appliance(s), Water, and /or Sewer failures. Needed repairs will be made as soon as possible.
